When Guy got "bear bear" ( the name of the bear) for his Christmas present, he was very happy and he treasured bear bear a lot, always taking her wherever he went and bear bear slept with Guy every night on his pillow, sharing his bolster with her tiny paws. During mealtimes, bear bear sat proudly on Guy's knees and she was hand-washed everyday with mild detergent...So she was a nice sweet smelling bear who was always well-maintained.
They shared a connection and a bond...Both Guy and bear bear were contented with life. The days passed by and Guy grew up.
Soon, when he turned 21, it was time for Guy to further his studies at another place. Tears dropped down his face as he stopped his packing and picked up the mangled old teddy bear which reminded him so much of his innocent childhood. He lifted the bear, now faded and worn, and sniffed at it. Embedded under the fabric and cotton, was the familiar smell of his room he always stayed in since the age of 2. It was the smell of home and security...
Guy wiped away his tears and told himself that a big boy should not weep like a girl. He smuggled bear bear into his luggage, squeezed in some way or the other, and the next day, took off to Australia.
At first, Guy was homesick and he would often look at bear bear fondly, recalling the wonderful days they had spent together in the past.
However, a smart boy as he was, Guy adapted quickly to his surroundings, and got acquainted with his new classmates and lecturers. He was cleaning his hostel room one day and the long forgotten bear bear got somehow shoved under the bed by mistake.

As you know, toys are enchanted and they can only come alive at midnight. A short and chubby little thing with stout legs, bear bear did try with all her might to climb up the bed again but she failed. She squeaked but no one heard her or came to her rescue.
She then resolved to cry in a dark corner alone...
"Please don't leave me alone?" she wept...

One day, Guy's friend, Timothy found an apartment available for rental at an amazingly cheap price. He invited Guy to come along and share a room with him along with another 5 friends.
It was an opportunity, an absolute bargain. Without further ado, Guy made plans and arrangements to move into the new place the next week.
That dreaded day, as Guy was struggling to close his heavy luggage box, he caught side of something small, brown and furry at the corner. Bear bear was looking at her owner out of small sad brown eyes. It was daytime and she could not really speak.
" Please take me with you~" her eyes spoke.
Maybe he understood...But Guy turned a deaf ear on his pet's pleas...maybe he had his own reasons...maybe...Or perhaps he had just gotten sick of this mangled old bear...After all, it wasn't so important to him after all...
Or
Perhaps Guy DID intend to let this bear rot and pine away in sadness? That would be cruel...
Nevertheless, this is the life of a teddy bear...Its happiness depends on how well the owner takes care of it...
Some teddy bears are sad...
