Blues and song listening aside...Haha, lunch time k. I'm now having a dessert which consists of apple slices dipped in Strawberry Yogurt(fat-free okay...)

I'm kind of shell-shocked now. Coz a sister whom I'm not close with asked me to help her become the mc of her lunch reception. Erm...shocked because I have no experience, meaning I can talk a lot of shit normally, but not in formal places la. You see, I'm not good in handling impromptu situations. Also horh, I'm totally not very close with this bride, just close with the brother. So on what base am I supposed to be involved in such an important day right? What if I mess things up.

So I texted her back to thank her and told her of the situation. Also asked her whether she sent the text to the right person. And she called back to ask me to recommend a partner. That she hoped I could do the English part.

Erm...The thing is, she thinks I can do it. (O.o) Walao, why all the good faith people? First Mi En the sweet, was bold enough to ask me(who had never actually done it in full worship service even) to song lead for her wedding service. I have been in the choir, done back-up singing, sang solos, but not song lead for grown-ups lorh.

Now chair during a lunch reception...and there's all the toasting and stuff... When I'm scared I talk shit. Seriously lorh!  She said she'll find someone to chair in Chinese to accompany me, and backup when I'm scared. Then asked me what the audience would think if she paired me with an uncle. (O.o)...I told her I prefer somebody more of our age category, or ask the uncle to chair with his wife...Not so weird marh.

So..see how la. Cannot reject coz she'll get offended. She'll get back to me after finding an appropriate partner. :S
