The Fill-In Post

It's been such a long while since I last blogged and too many things to fill in. I thought of doing a meme and somehow get everything jotted down. But too bad. Can't find a meme that can actually inspire me to write. Anybody any ideas? Anyway, so few readers are aware of this blog(and I MEAN to keep it this way) so who cares right?

Hmmm~ updates? I'm still recovering from my food poisoning episode which apparently kind of shook my world. My whole world knows! Thanks to viral SMSes and facebook.

Erm...I'm quite touched actually coz nearly everyone in church I'm close to sent me texts, called me or something. And representatives from my youth visited me...my cell wanted to come too but I was discharged before they came. And oh, since the Cameron episode before my digestion turned haywire, so many stuff happened.

First, because of me, now our tan sri big boss has banned people from taking leaves on Friday. Even though

1. I was not on leave for fun. But to take care of kids and organize a mini children's camp for 3 days 2 nights.(And yes, contrary to common belief, I did NOT study early childhood education, NOR am I a kindergarten teacher.Seriously.)

2. I finished my work until 11pm at night the day before I left to make sure nothing would require my colleague's additional help.

3. I'm a small potato so actually I'm not that important to attend his meetings. I kind of regret getting noticed by him some unknown time and now I dread feeling stupid when he brings me along to meet ministers of whatnot. But the compliment I got is, he told Mr L that he wants to employ a new staff like me coz I'm good(*Small consolation).

4. We only have 5 full-time staff. =________=||| So everyone knows what each other is doing. We can pass messages!

Yea...and then the food poisoning thing happened and I was hospitalized and absent for 4 working days so my colleagues told him it was because of all the late nights that my body turned so weak so he kept quiet after that.

Oh, speaking about food poisoning and my gastric disaster, all my colleagues visited me in Sunway and made me a huge fancy thank you card! *loves~ But they are monitoring my diet now. (T_T) So yea, I'm still eating boring healthy food. Was living on protein shakes the first day I returned to work and I nearly died for lack of carbs. Tak da tenaga and seriously moody lorh. But today mummy J*ne made nice porridge for me, so me ish happy.

Oh yea, on the subject of colleagues. This is the first time I'm in a sincerely political-free office environment and everyone is actually so surprised. We come from different backgrounds, all recommended by some trustee or something to enter this foundation but we all clicked after the first week. So we are now living in fear of the new staff-to-be(employing now!!! Send your resume in if you like me...WTH! Hahahaa!)in case he or she spoils the office environment.

For your info, Mr L is looking for

1. Sizzling hot chicks with a dress code above the knee, aged 18-30
2. Single, submissive, polite, willing to learn, sweet and gentle.
3. Hardworking and good tempered. 愿挨骂.打不还手,被骂笑脸应对.
4. Willing to travel, willing to work without OT, willing to not take leave on Fridays.

In reality,
1. The rest of us 4 babes don't mind a handsome or okay looking guy who has knowledge in accounting or equivalent. Girls are welcome too, regardless of age. We can bully Mr L (who is actually our new boss-to-be in office) together.

2. Seriously, you need to be single coz you cannot afford to not spend time with your family like us. Travelling will always be done in a group and you are promised loads of laughter and fun during our road trip. You can get to visit loads of places and attend free dinners and lunches with VIPs very frequently, but you WILL get super duper tired at the end of the day. The best thing? NO REPLACEMENT LEAVES. To be honest, you have to take turns to go outstation working on Sat and Sundays until the elections la. Not forever.

3. You need to cover mountain, cover sea as K always says, but learn to control your temper. Please understand that we are all very agitated and loud when we are frustrated so don't let us scare you.

4. If you a guy, you must be a gentleman and we will be nice to you. Note that I will be the youngest in office and I'm not very pretty so you have to live with that. In fact, Mr L's eye candy is me coz I'm the only girl who wears skirts and dresses plus puts on light make-up every day. So yea, quite disappointing if you're expecting to work in a women's organisation for the sake of mixing with hot chicks. But K is pretty and single at the age of 29. Also comes from very good family background.

5. Again, if you are a guy, you should be willing to do the men-work in office(coz we have no maid or handyman or office boy. Miscellaneous jobs are now done by the only man in the office but he does them willingly so we all respect him very much.

6. Regardless of your gender, you need to have good communicative skills and customer service as we also recruiting a credit office whose job is mostly conducting phone interviews, handling inquiries, preparing agreements, typing reports and going on roadshows. Preferably someone who can present well also so you can take turns with giving intro speeches and presentations with Mr L and me. Then we don't need to attend every roadshow quite so frequently. ^^
AND if you are employed as a credit processor, then me can fly back to research center where tan sri switched me to and I want to go there. I'm now working in both departments >.< It is a good exposure but I really prefer going out to meet suppliers or having internal meetings with them and go through business modals, letters, presenting our RC to them...rather then counselling and doing phone interviews or reports. Which becomes boring and mundane eventually.

5. We have uniform provided(which we don't wear now except for roadshows and events). But you can choose to wear it daily if you are such a boring person. NOTE: It is ugly.

ANYWAY, we are a very happy family and our office is fun coz nobody is calculative and we eat lunch together everyday(tapao) of the week for bonding. Really unexpected blesssing from God. Everybody is super hardworking, single(except for Mr L who's married with a beautiful wife and an amazingly cute kid who lives with the grandparents in Ipoh =____+|||) that's why we can practically slave with no OT, no allowance and no INSURANCE!!!! Yea, my hospitalization was NOT covered thanks to my CEO(contract ending this month) who procrastinated so much even though I sent him quotations on the first week of work!Which was in August! And YES, we are buying group insurance now since I'm the first to kena. WHY ME??? *sigh~

I'm tired now and tomorrow have to travel to Ipoh at 8.30am for work. So I want to bathe and sleep jorh. Just came back from church prayer meeting actually. So good night world! Let me continue another time when I'm in this rare blogging mood again. BYE!
